Black Football History Month!... Footballer of the Week!...Ernie Davis!

Our 'Footballer Of The Week'

for this week

goes to:

the Big Black Guy, 6-2, 210, who was the

first Black Man to win the Heisman in 1961,

and was also known as the 'Elmira Express,'

and he broke all of Jim Brown's records at

Syracuse, and was the first overall draft

pick in1962, but sadly passed away the

next year without playing a single game,

and so much more...

...Ernie Davis!

It is rumored that Ernie Davis once

said, "I just try and run faster than

everyone else!"

Ernie had a mid-upper-lip

Winge's Peak (elatus labialis wingeulus)

called "Can't Catch!"

Black Football History Month was

founded by Ralph Winge, D.D.S.

in 2025 to recognize, celebrate, and

congratulate, with great pride, the

remarkable and outstanding Black Men,

both past and present, who display(ed)

exceptional skills with exciting and

memorable onfield performances

on game days, in the very popular

sport of American Football.

Black Basketball History Month Honors The 'Hoopster Of The Week!'

The Founder of Black Football History Month,

Ralph Winge, D.D.S.,

is also a College and Pro Football enthusiast,

a USC Dental School Graduate,

and is elucidator of elatus labialis wingeulus.
