Our 'Footballer Of The Week'
for this week
goes to:
the Big Black Guy, 6-2, 210, who is also
known as the 'King of L A,' who could have
been one of the greatest quarterbacks,
but was forced into running back, yet still
won the Heisman and Maxwell Trophies in
1981, after winning the college national title
in 1978 and 1981, then quickly won Off. Rookie
of the Year in the NFL, then the year
after that he won the Super Bowl
in 1983 and was the MVP
for that game, 191 yards and two TDs, then
in 1985 he was the NFL MVP for that year,
then he was the Comeback Player of the Year
in 1993, while being the first to gather
10,000 rushing yards and 5,000 receiving
yards in 1995, plus a five-year Pro Bowl pick,
and is the only player to a National Title,
Heisman, NFL MVP, Super Bowl MVP,
and member of the Hall of Fame,
plus, a whole lot more...
Marcus also has a mid-upper-lip
