for this week 

goes to: 

the Big Black Man, 5-11, 245, who 

lightninged a 4.58 40, and earned a 

Super Bowl Championship and Ring, 

and was a Pro Bowl Gamer and 

season rushing leader, and was a 

virtual hurricane in college, careering 

in the Pros 10,607 rushing yards and 58 TDs,

with some highlights here,

and so much more...

Black Football History Month!... Footballer of the Week!...Frederick Douglas Patterson!

  

Our 'Footballer Of The Week'

for this week 

goes to: 

the Big Black Man, who was Ohio State's 

first Big Black football and baseball player 

in 1890, and was productive on offense 

and defense, replacing the starting 

quarterback that fell to to ejection in the 

last game of Patterson's first year and 

was starting quarterback the next season, 

also becoming the first Big Black Man 

to score a defensive touchdown for the 

school, and was active in Student 

government, while being the business 

manager of the university's student 

newspaper, The Lantern, so after college, 

he went back home to work at the family's 

buggy-making factory where he then 

retooled it to fix and make cars!...the 

first Black Automotive Production 

Company in the U. S. made the 

Patterson-Greenfield Automobile, and 

he and his father were recently inducted 

into the Automotive Hall of Fame, 

and so much more...

...Frederick Douglas Patterson!




It is rumored that Mr. Patterson once

Black Football History Month!... Footballer of the Week!...Charles Follis!

  

Our 'Footballer Of The Week'

for this week

the Big Black Man, 6-0, 200, aka 

'Charles The Speedy,' who was the 

first Big Black Professional Football player 

contracted for a whole season with the 

Shelby Blues of the Ohio League in 1904, 

and, by the way, he was the first Big Black catcher to 

graduate from college to go into the 

Negro Leagues, oh yeah...so he played 

football for 5 seasons, 

and so much more...

...Charles Follis!



It is rumored that  Charles once

the Big Black Man, 6-1, 226, who played for 

the Ok. Sooners, then USC and won the 

Heisman with them in 2022, while also 

being the AP College Player of the Year, 

and the Maxwell, and when he started his 

rookie season with the Bears, he scored 9 

touchdowns in his first six games in 2024, 

with some highlights here,
