Black Football History Month!... Footballer of the Week!...Franco Harris!

Our 'Footballer Of The Week'

for this week

is:

the Big Black Man, 6-2, 230, who could

debatably run a 4.40 40 in his time, and

was a 9x Pro Bowl Gamer, while being

a 4x Super Bowl Winner and an MVP in

one of them, plus, you know he had to

be let in the NFL HOF after making

the 'Immaculate Reception' on Dec. 23,

1972, and by some estimates Franco

made that the most controversial

and most famous play ever, plus he was

Off. Rookie of the Year, Man of the Year,

and a season rushing TDs leader,

finishing with 12,120 yards,

with some highlights here,

and so much more...

...Franco Harris!

It is rumored that Franco once

said, "Give me the ball...it's not heavy!"

Black Football History Month was

founded by Ralph C. Winge, D.D.S.

in 2025 to recognize, celebrate, and

congratulate, with great pride, the

remarkable and outstanding Black Men,

both past and present, who display(ed)

exceptional skills with exciting and

memorable onfield performances

on game days, in the very popular

sport of American Football.

The Founder of Black Football History Month,

Ralph C. Winge, D.D.S.,

is also a College and Pro Football enthusiast,
