Our 'Footballer Of The Week'

for this week 

goes to: 

the first Black Man to, after college, contract 

with a Pro NFL team, the Rams, to play 

half-back and defensive back, with his first 

contest on September 29, 1946 against the 

Philadelphia Eagles at the Los Angeles 

Memorial Coliseum,

plus so much more...

 ...Kenny Washington!




It is rumored that Mr. Washington once said, 

"Straight up the middle first and then 

maybe down the sidelines!"



Kenny Washington also has a mid-upper-lip 

Winge's Peak (elatus labialis wingeulus)

called "'Slippery!"

in 2025 to recognize, celebrate, and

congratulate, with great pride, the 

remarkable and outstanding Black Men,

both past and present, who display(ed) 

exceptional skills with exciting and 

memorable onfield performances 

on game days, in the very popular 

sport of American Football.

The Founder of Black Football History Month,

Ralph Winge, D.D.S.,

is also a College and Pro Football enthusiast,

a USC Dental School Graduate,

and is elucidator of elatus labialis wingeulus.

touchdowns with 164, oh and he won 

Super Bowl 'Rings' in '93, '94, and 1996,

Black Football History Month!... Our Inaugural 'Footballer of the Week!'...Jerry Rice!

 


Our Very First 'Footballer Of The Week'

for this week 

goes to:

the Big Black Guy, 6-2, 200, who scored 

the most total career touchdowns, 

with 208, and the most

career receptions at 1,549, oh and 3

Super Bowl Rings in '89, '90, and 1995,

and was inducted into the NFL Hall of 

Fame in 2010, after having set records 

in all receiving categories,

plus many other accomplishments...
